man. i still listen to songs i was introduced to by people i don’t associate with anymore. there are songs so tied to specific events that it’s impossible to listen to them without remembering

sometimes you listen to a song you used to replay over and over again and it’s like a goddamn time machine and suddenly you’re 13, 14, 15 again. right? the person you were then is still inside you. and a 3 minute tune can bring them out

when i listen to fun. i remember the first time i heard their music, beyond the hits. i remember trying to get everyone to listen to them

how can i separate this music i’ve grown to love from the people i love that have shared them with me? i love it

when i listen to harry styles or one direction i think about @nooggetss
when i listen to hobo johnson i think about @GoodGuyBigBird
these are people i KNOW love this music. who have shared their love of this music with me in the past
