Interestingly, the US doesn't have ANY overwhelmingly liberal states, that is, states in which liberals dominate the population.

The state w/ the highest % of liberals is MA, at 35%, w/ conservatives at 22%, & moderates outnumbering both. Compare to MS, w/ the highest % of conservatives at 50%, outnumbering moderates (29%) & liberals (12%).
