There were no cameraphones in the hands of people. It was whatever govt said it was. Many horrors that actually happened back then have been erased or given a different spin. In all of this, note that no cop who shot at peaceful protesters has been arrested till date. Not even the ones we have on video. No-one has told us who ordered 20.10.20 or the shootings since then. On 20.10.20, they took out the lights at Lekki, cut off comms, and unleashed soldiers on peaceful protesters. A carefully orchestrated campaign to make sure the full details of the horrors never get out. The day after 20.10.20, we then see videos of military units on the streets, being "humane" , addressing protesters at different locations. It is a brilliant PR move.
