A Jose Mourinho and SAF comparison thread. Draw your own conclusions. Tried to be unbiased in this as I am a big fan of Jose. Who do you think is better?
Starting off with the easy stuff. League titles.

SAF: 17 (St. Mirren, Abereeen, and Manchester United)
Jose: 8 (Porto, Chelsea, Inter, Real Madrid)

Advantage: SAF
Champions League Trophies

SAF: 2 (Manchester United)
Jose: 2 (Porto and Inter)

Advantage: Jose due to taking multiple teams to the title. Seems more impressive to me.
Domestic Trophies excluding League titles.

SAF: 24 including Community Shields. 14 without. (5 with Aberdeen. 9 with United)
Jose: 15 including Community Shields. 11 without. (2 with Porto, 4 with Chelsea, 2 with Inter, 2 with Madrid, 1 with United)

Advantage: SAF
Best points total in a single 38 match season.

SAF: 90 (08/09 Manchester United)
Jose: 100 (11/12 Real Madrid)

Advantage: Jose
A bit more controversial. Number of leagues won in Europe's Top five.

SAF: 1 (Premier League)
Jose: 4 (Premier League, La Liga, Primiera League, Serie A)

Advantage: Jose
Trebles.

SAF: 1
Jose: 1

Advantage: Draw. I'd say it's a bit more challenging to win a treble with Porto who isnt necessarily regarded as a European elite like Manchester United, but to each their own.
Overall managerial success rate in terms of trophies per season managing.

SAF: .78 trophies per year in 39 years as a manager (39/50) including Community Shields.
Jose: .74 per year in 20 years as a manager (20/27) including Community Shields.

Advantage: SAF statistically.
Its left up to you to decide who is better. In theory if Jose gets another 19 years of management he should eclipse SAF in trophy total at the pace he is on now. For now ill give SAF the edge, but it isnt insane to compare the two.
Personally the fact Jose has travelled Europe and won I'm every league he has managed in says alot. SAF dominated England and never stepped out of the comfort zone of Manchester United. A negative? Not necessarily, but you'd like to see more variety.
In conclusion you have to admire what they've both done and respect them for what they've done for the game. Revisit this ten years from now and we may have an even more interesting argument on our hands. RT's appreciated đź‘Ť
