Luke 9:23 - "And he said to all: If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me."

What does taking up the cross mean? Is me posting Bible verses and going to Church fulfilling this. No. It is much more.
Our modern conveniences make us forget what this means. As we immerse our self in material things we forget God. I ask myself, am I taking up my cross? The answer is always no.
The question I have to ask myself is this. Really we should all ask this. Does every step and action we take please or displease the Lord? Can we joke? I think so. Should we be crass? No. Should joking take place of Charity? Never. How to we exercise Charity? With love.
When I spend my money on material things I reflect more lately. Am I sinning by buying crypto? I don't think so. However, am I rejecting the needs of my community? Am I giving to the poor? Not enough certainly. But what is enough?
It's hard to say, for as much as Christ says to give to the poor, the Bible also tells us to take care of our family, and to leave an inheritance for our Children. Where is the line?

All I can think of is praying is the way to find the answer.
In short, the best way to summarize this is, I cannot, nor can anyone, decide if you are taking up your cross enough. However, if you feel like you are not, you likely are not. Pray heavily on this.
