One of the group's demands was the resignation of the school dean, Tim Wolfe.

Here's a look at the letter ConcernedStudent 1950 issued after forcibly blocking Wolfe's car, including allowing themselves to be hit by the vehicle when the driver tried to get away from the mob.
It was a precursor to the activism we see in radicalized BLM groups today. The group demanded equity, that black faculty make up at least 10% of the staff, and required "diversity training" for incoming freshman.

Sound familiar?

Newman covered the protests for @KOMUnews.

His published work doesn't outline the Marxist influence, despite raised fists on the group's attire. For those unaware, the "raised fist" is a historical communist symbol.

Here's one of the photos from his Facebook page:
Anyway, back to Newman.

During his time at 9News, Newman partnered with other reporters on a "Homegrown Hate" series.

Designed to outline hate groups in Colorado, it had some serious biases. Namely, it ONLY focused on right-wing terror and extremism.

The series also profiled a 21 year old charged w/ a misdemeanor bias crime after he vandalized a bookstore in response to an "all ages drag queen event" marketed for children. Patriot Front stickers were in his backpack.

All of this backtracking into Zack Newman’s history in the news business is relevant -and it brings us back to the day of Lee Keltner’s death in Denver.

Newman said he was attending “opposing rallies” with included far-right militias.
Newman followed up his initial tweet about “far right” attendees by uploading a video showing presumably “right” individuals walking down the street in camo gear. However, he never tweeted out photos or videos of the hostile radical left mob.

His only tweet about the radical left group showed a single individual lighting a flag on fire.
In that very first tweet, Zack Newman began stretching the truth to favor his own biased perspective.

The rally, thrown by Benghazi veteran John Tiegen, was not a far right militia event in any sense. Nor was it a political rally.
The “Patriot Muster” was marketed to everyday citizens as an opportunity for patriots to stand up and express their love for America.

The word “patriot” has no political connotation - it simply means (according to Merriam Webster): someone who loves and supports their country
While “muster” can be used as a military term - the fact is that this was not a military event or “inspection.” Should any unbiased individual review the event in context, it is clear that this was a gathering, which is considered a readily used definition of the word “muster.”
It is silly to play semantics with a rally named so simply as “Patriot Muster.” But Newman defended his decision to call it a far right militia event by referencing the name “Patriot Muster” (as if there was a right-wing militancy connotation), so I'm addressing those claims.
THE FINAL QUESTION:

Was Newman there that day on the hunt for white supremacy? Is that why he minimized the very real aggression displayed by the Denver Communists and black bloc Antifa, but amplified the untrue claim that this was a right wing militia event?
Newman’s reporting history has a trend: radical left organizations saw positive spin. Newman's work in the "Homegrown Hate" series highlighted white supremist hate groups and over-reached to paint individuals / groups...
as hateful extremists, EVEN in instances where there was no real evidence to prove it.

His published reporting on the day of the Patriot Muster attempted to paint the “Patriots” as a far right militia, minimizing the aggression and tactical garb of radical left extremist groups.
When Newman’s one sided reporting history is combined with Matthew Dolloff’s partisan leftist views, it suggests that the pair’s obvious biases had played a role in the over-reaction to Lee Keltner approaching them that day at the rally.
Thanks for reading this super MEGA thread. I hope it shines a light on what is going on here in CO in relation to the #Denvershooting.
