let’s talk about intrusive thoughts. cause ik a lot of people have them, like... a lot and they feel gross bc of that. impulsive thoughts are not “i should dye my hair” no, they’re thoughts like “what if i murdered

my family” or thoughts about incest or murdering someone or saying offensive things and so much more disturbing shit. people CANNOT control these thoughts. these are usually people’s FEARS and things they would NEVER do in real life. you are not a bad person for having these

thoughts. you recognize how bad they are and that’s why you hate having them and they make you extremely uncomfortable. again: you are NOT a bad person. you cannot control these thoughts. that is why they are intrusive thoughts.

i know a lot of people don’t talk about their intrusive thoughts bc it makes other people uncomfortable or they think no one thinks like that, but i promise you, you are not these thoughts. you are not a bad person. you are not alone and people need to realize this.
