He’s pushing them to open sham investigations to try to swing an election. What’s ridiculous about this is that there will be people in media who are more than willing to pretend like any sort of nonsense like this that happens between now and the election isn’t a political play.

Pressuring the AG to have your political opponent for some unspecified crime in part because you want to swing the election and part because you’re an authoritarian monster

People lost their minds because Loretta Lynch ran into Bill Clinton for a few minutes at an airport. Meanwhile, Trump’s out here loudly telling his DOJ to open up phony investigations.

Anyway, I think this is probably the last real chance to stop the democratic backsliding. After that, I think that’s it.
