now i am aware that chicago picked a PG in rose the year before, but holiday can run shooting guard and his defensive presence would make up for rose's lack of defensive skills

chicago bulls 2010 draft pick 17

original pick: kevin seraphin (traded)

new pick: avery bradley

bradley would be the perfect defensive guard to compliment rose, he could take care of the opposing team's best guard while rose goes to work on the perimeter with the ball

chicago bulls 2011 draft pick 28

original pick: norris cole (traded)

this was honestly a good trade, nikola mirotic was great after coming to the league in 2015, and the pick of jimmy butler turned out to be a steal. it rounded out a great 2011 draft night for the chicago bulls

new pick: khris middleton

once again, how did khris fall this low, he'd be great for the bulls who needed some shot creation with d-rose gone for the year, khris could step in and give them some quick buckets

new pick: tim hardaway jr

snell did not become the player the bulls were thinking, he's okay but now chicago gets a big scoring upgrade with hardway jr, another guy to help with the scoring load with d-rose struggling

the bulls really hit the picks spot on here, the guys they traded for (doug mcdermott and anthony randolph) didn't really do great, keep these guys

portis wasn't a horrible pick but the bulls were lacking wing depth to go with the blossoming jimmy butler, josh richardson comes in and helps with that and adds great shooting ability too

original pick: denzel valentine

new pick: pascal siakam again

hey siakam nice to see you again! seriously it's insulting how far this guy fell in the draft, here the bulls get a future all star and some extra depth to help jimmy rondo and wade

chicago bulls 2017 draft pick 16

original pick: justin patton: (traded with jimmy butler to the timberwolves for kris dunn, zach lavine and lauri markkanen)

the thing about this pick is that the bulls had to do this in order to start the rebuild, so i won't really touch it

new pick: mitchell robinson

now i know it's odd to pick the high school draftee robinson this early but he had tremendous upside even back then, here chicago takes a chance on him and it pays off big time

chicago bulls 2019 draft pick 7

original pick: coby white

new pick: coby white

i don't hate this pick, even though we don't know what his real position is, white has shown some promise, i was gonna pick brandon clarke again but with carter jr and gafford, there's no need

conclusion, it's hard to say how good the bulls were at drafting this decade since a lot of their picks were traded in big packages, but they were okay, missed out on some steals and took guys too high here and there but they weren't awful, that jimmy pick is incredible though
