My Anarchism Stuff ⤵️

Here is a thread of all the Anarchism vids I did on The Tok si far (that's tiktok for you non hip people😁)

First I'll start with Emma Goldman...as it should be :)

This is her "What is Anarchism" quote from Anarchism and other essays.
Here's a quote from the Father of Anarchism, Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, "To Be Governed".

Anarchists do not believe that we need people in power and that is mainly because it breeds oppression on those of us without that given/taken power.
Next I posted a misquote about Emma Goldman but with an explanation (and the misquote fits) :)
Alan Moore, the UK sci-fi writer and anarchist, explains his view on anarchism.
Oh this one was on the Anarchist bakery in Paris. I definitely will talk more about co-ops.
Next up is me babbling about unicorns and freedom :)
This one is Part 1 of Anarchism Symbolism...The Black Flag
Moving right along 😁

This is more on Socialism than Anarchism but it's Einstein and he needed in on this :)

Albert wrote an essay on "Why Socialism?" and this is from that.
Here is a Peter Kropotkin quote on competition vs cooperation.
This is John Henry MacKay's poem "Anarchy". Emma used this in her publication Mother Earth...I'll be sharing more poems and quotes from that periodical as well.

I'm a big fan of poetry and art in movements.
This is one about Direct Action using David Graeber's fixing a well example.

I just listened to him talk on it again yesterday and he adds "and hope you get away with fixing it" 😁

Miss that dude.
This was me describing the difference between Chaos and Anarchy and the different political systems in between.
A description of anarcha-feminism. I'll talk on the other factions but anarcha-feminism has recently saved me because I have been so put off by the neolib rad fem shit that women adhere to. Supporting the patriarchy in any form is NOT feminism. Wanting to have equality is.
Here is a quote from one of my favorites (if you can't tell I love my fellow women anarchists), Voltiarine de Cleyre.

Two main themes in anarchism is morality and freedom.
Here is Part 2 of Anarchism Symbolism, The circle-A.
Ok, so this one I thought of not posting until after the election and then said "fuck it".

I do vote but I also get voting by no means in the system we have is going to fix anything.
So, there are a few philosophers and writers who's ideas played into Anarchism before Proudhon called himself one. William Godwin was one of those dudes.

Also, Godwin did write in early 19th too. I should have added that.
This isn't mine but I did a duet (it's a The Tok thing) and Michael Parenti was one of my first political reads when I was a wee teen :)
OK so thos one isn't so much about Anarchism per say...but it is a poem from a Anarchist publication. Just don't tell @cit_uprising I added cuz I scare him in this one.
So as a follow up to that frightening vid 🤣 I talk about how an anarchist views police and crime using another Emma Goldman quote.
One more then I gotta break for a very important crafting conf call with my cousin :) I'll get more out right after (got about 10 left).

Anyhow, this is about the main difference between Anarchism and Libertarianism...well, the nicest one anyhow.
I'm back. Let me finish this out. Thos one is just another duet but it is Stokely Carmichael talking about capitalism.
So, Mutual Aid is maybe the thing I like best about Leftist politics. I love the idea of everyone just working together for mutual benefit.
This one came out of a discussion I had here and I really think knowing the history surrounding theory is very important now.
I'm gonna try to do more of these (clips of anarchists) cuz everyone enjoyed this one. My anarchism follows in line with Graeber's theiries and thoughts a lot and I really didn't figure that out until a couple years ago. I wish I figured that out sooner.
Here is another one I dueted. This is with the anarchist hype house on The Tok. I actually am gonna read hos first suggestion since I haven't before but the fest are great reads for sure.
And one last duet...this one explaining anarcho-communism. I'll probably do my own at some point but they did an excellent 1 min vid on it.
Hete's one on the Mujetes Libres of the Spanosh Revolution. I touch on the need not to put marginalized groups on the back burner for the revolution. Class war is great and all but we got other shit that needs some sorting.
So, last one for today and it is a poem by John Cage.

I will keep adding to this thread and once the election is over and counted this will be pinned (need those captures in the pinned threads to shove in people's faces first).
I could do these all day every day. Here is Graeber on Direct Action from a 2015 interview on the London Real.
(Reposting this one to the correct place in the thread)

Prof. Ruth Kinna talking on why it is hard, as an anarchist, to work with republicans and liberals.
Here is a vid fearuring a quote by Ashanti Alston. Alston was a Black Panther and in the BLA before becoming an anarchist.

He is speaking on living as an anarchist in order to show it works.
Carne Ross talking on how direct democracy would be used on a grander scale.

Ross, the Accidental Anarchist, worked for the British Foreign Office up until he testified against the Iraq War.
So anarchava is a great follow on tiktok (she may even be on here...not sure). She puts out great info like this and reads quotes and does some goofy joking stuff.

This is on how parenting is the only acceptable hierarchy.
Um I may have been and still am a wee bit too high to do a tiktok but this happened. 🤣
The biggest argument against anarchism is human nature where there is absolutely no proof humans are born violent, greedy and especially not racist or sexist.
Here is Alston speaking on how he came to anarchism while in prison. He talks a lot on bottom up and how any form of hierarchy is bad. Also, how we can't let the voices just be the smart white men.
This is historian, Paul Avrich, in the doc "Free Voice of Labor: The Jewish Anarchist" speaking on anarchism.
Here's ol' Murray Bookchin himself defining what "The State" means.

Power to the leople, is all I'm saying.
