When 700 West Ada teachers called in sick, there were some who attacked them & tried to turn parents against teachers. The truth is that parents were some of the teachers' strongest supporters.

Here are a few thank-you notes that we've collected so far from West Ada parents:
"Thank you all for your tremendous sacrifices and endless unpaid extra hours to help my children learn and grow."
"Thank you, sorry you have to risk your lives to teach our kids."
"Thank you for being an example of standing up for what you believe in! Teaching has always been an admirable job, and the fact that you have returned to this position in a time of uncertainty and crisis makes you saints."
"Protect your health and protect your students. Make your voices heard and know that there are many parents who have your backs!"
"Teachers, our very survival depends on the work you do. Like any other public servant, you sacrifice everyday for all of us. Thank you for doing the work that so few of us are willing to do."
"Our family supports West Ada Teachers one hundred percent. You deserve to work in an environment of safety."
"Thank you teachers and school staff...we appreciate you!"
"Thank you for standing up for yourself and those that can’t."
"Thank you so much for all you are doing. We know that this hasn't been easy, and wish that it hadn't come to this."
"Thank you for ensuring that the schools stay safe for our children to attend."
"Thank you to the teachers fighting to keep our kids and themselves safe!"
"Our family supports West Ada Teachers one hundred percent. You deserve to work in an environment of safety."
"Thank you all!! You are the true heroes! I appreciate everything you do to keep our children and community safe! My family supports you!"
"Thank you for everything you continue to do for our children under these strange circumstances. You deserve to feel safe and we support you 100%."
"Your safety matters. Your families' safety matters. Our students' safety matters. I appreciate your hard work under immense stress this school year, and every school year. I support you 100%."
