With everything going on in the world, I didn’t feel it appropriate to be “putting myself over” as they say. But on a day like today, it’s important to celebrate even the tiniest of wins. This past year was my first opportunity to host my own radio show with my two best friends.
We did a lot of dumb, silly things... from hotsauce eating contests, Jeff Foxworthy tweets, ASMR the Highlights & Florida Man Friday’s. But we had important conversations too. About social injustices, cheating scandals, and women’s issues.
One of these conversations lead to me being recognized for the @AllWomeninMedia Gracie’s. These conversations are not easily had, but they’re paramount, especially for voices society has deemed are “not important.” I thank @Entercom for the opportunity to tell my story
