Through no fault of my own I was put into a situation where I was starving on almost a daily basis. My parents divorced when I was three, Dad got custody but never had us until he remarried when I was almost 10. I lived with my granny and 5 others in a Glasgow tenement

Firefighter from the age of 4/5 and fortunately enough I joined the London fire brigade aged 18. I spent 32 years as a firefighter and officer...now if it was not for my primary school in London and friends in my secondary school I would have gone without food or even drink
I suppose what I am saying is please stop agreeing with this Tory government in regards of feeding starving children thank you @MarcusRashford for highlighting this issue. Yes there are parents who are neglecting their kids but most kids are not to blame in this situation
Have a think before you slate all of these families as most of us with the correct support will put back into the system a lot more than the few pence a day it costs to feed these hungry kids with a warm substantial meal....
Please I am not looking for sympathy I am looking for you to look at yourself and your choices to support such draconian measures that these kids do not deserve
