Fascism is a political & economic order of society. It is not simply a mean guy in a chair who pushes the fascism button one day. If a fascist is in the WH, we have to examine what put him there. Many liberals refuse to do so bc it exposes something they're not ready to look at. https://twitter.com/robrousseau/status/1318984526631231490
That thing, by the way, is that neoliberal capitalism (i.e. a corporate-controlled marketplace with a sham government unaccountable to public interest) contains conflicts in its design that can't be resolved without fascist state violence forcing the system to continue.
Trump is a rational outcome of these conflicts, which is obvious, but so are militarized police forces, fossil fuel subsidies, a health care system that profits off its own dysfunction, a bloated Pentagon teeming with death merchants, Comcast owning a "liberal" news station, etc.
Nearly every single crisis of our time (furiously compartmentalized by corporate media haircuts to seem disjointed from any central theme) is a product of a 400 year old socioeconomic experiment built around the legalized pursuit of individual property at any cost.
