A thread of the roots of the Nigerian crisis:

While under British rule...Nigerians learned from the capital crooks themselves (the white men) how to steal, kill, and corrupt. It must be noted that when the British relinquished power they only did so for show...

The British left in power the already appointed prime minister, northerner Abubakar Balewa (a bastard). Next Nnamdi Azikiwe was placed as president when Nigeria became a republic for the first time. Although an Igbo, he was very much so northern in every way.

These men and their colleagues were the first group of truly corrupt government officials Nigeria saw which in turn led to Nigeria’s first coup d’état in 1966 by fed up Igbo army leaders. They successfully killed 22 officials including Balewa sparing Azikiwe’s life.

After the successful coup in 1966 Nigeria’s “democracy” switched to military rule and the new head of the country Johnson Ironsi (an Umuahia native like myself). Although he led for barely half a year he truly tried to start turning the country’s Govt around.

But ofcourse the northerners couldn’t have such so they plotted and tried to accuse him of engineering the coup and murdered him in order to place Yakubu Gowon, oh look another northerner, in office. In my opinion he was just a pawn and the south was not having this....

Long story short this led to the Nigerian civil war more commonly known as the Biafran War. The Igbo people had become fed up of the corruption, and the ethnic and religious persecution of our people and decided to secede and become their own nation called Biafra.

Ofcourse they found this to be unacceptable and decided that they would cut off Biafra from food and supplies which led to malnutrition and starvation of almost 2 million Igbos. As if this was not enough many of our people were beaten, raped, mutilated, burned alive and killed...

I must leave that right there bc the evil done to my people my blood....I do not have it in me to start on. God will forever punish them and their descendants until the end of time

From 1967-1970 igbos were killed at an alarming rate ruthlessly and a true genocidal event befell my people. Let it be known the same Britain you all are asking for help is the same that backed Nigeria while it murdered and raped innocent women and children all for control of oil

Small shout out to France for providing supplies and aid to Biafra during this time however let it be known that they were playing both sides and can go to hell....DISRESPECTFULLY as well

China, the Soviet Union, Canada and America can also ride that first class ticket to hell because they supported Nigeria all for the gains they would have if they won. We thank countries like Zambia (my maternal homeland) for its support of Biafra. May God continue to bless you

Unfortunately we were overpowered, starved and weakened in numbers and supplies which led to our surrender. As a reunited country Nigeria flourished as an oil hub which also led to more corruption and misuse of power from Gowon and friends.

Well uncle Go-Go started to enjoy his power too much and tried retaining it for longer than promised....as you can see Nigerians don’t like to learn from the past. This led to her ANOTHER coup (the 3rd in a 10 year span) in 1975. Luckily he was only deposed and kept his life

Power was handed over to Murtala Muhammad (yes that’s who Lagos international airport is named after) who began plans to transition rule of Nigerian back to civil government. Unfortunately he was as donated a few months into his rule during an attempted and failed coup in 1976

In 1976 Baba @OluObasanjo1 Muhammad’s deputy took over as head of state shortly and facilitated Nigeria’s transition back to civil government. Compared to the rest of military peers I believe he had a more diplomatic view of rule in those 3 years.

Instead of picking someone who completely aligned with his views and ideals he chose for the sake of maintaining peace and representation of the regions a northerner and a Muslim Yar’Adua. No one President is clean, perfect and innocent but so far....he’s the least problematic

In 1979 Obasanjo steps down and the republic is attempted again after a rebrand and fresh new paint with the election of Shehu Shagari, our first Democratic pres. Although he was a northerner he was not a military general or personnel so I guess he sha helped the economy small

During the ‘93 elections (had to google and confirm this date bc) Babangida lost to his opponent Abiola( a Yoruba businessman) but he was not having it. This clusterfuck of an election led to his resignation and appointment of Shonekan.

Too bad that lasted a couple months before General Sani Abacha swooped in and collected the head of state back as he held control of the military at that time. Overthrew him SWIFTLY.

Now here we have the real dictator of Nigerian history. This nigga was horrible.A dictator and the pioneer of Nigeria’s authoritarian police force. he truly ruined us in the sense of civil rights. Although the economy boomed under him corruption inflated and human rights dwindled

We sure do thank God for that heart attack. So now we are in 1998 and see the short presidency of general Abubakar who actually kept to his swift word of transitioning power from military rule to democratic civil rule for the first time in 15 years.

Abubakar was not innocent in the imprisonment and MURDER of MKO Abiola who rightfully won the 1993 election....

Remember our general from earlier in 1976? Olusegun Obasanjo was elected in 1999 as the president of Nigeria until 2007. Like every other politician in power his hands weren’t clean and he had his faults. In his terms we saw increased copacetic foreign relations and economic boom

His legacy is tainted also by the ‘99 Odi Massacre in Bayelsa (remember Timaya’s song Dem Mama?). The former president came out apologised & held accountability for this & still somehow stood higher in intergrity that the northern past presidents. Corruption? Definitely but less

Ofcourse we cant let more than 1 northerner in a 10 year span rule so next up on the presidency is Umaru Yar’Adua in 2007. It was his older brother who was Obasanjo’s second in ‘76. Not much to tell here other than he had some plans for Nigeria...fell gravely ill and died

With Yar’Adua’s death came Goodluck Jonathan’s rise from VP to pres. Yes his name is Goodluck, no he isn’t Igbo. He is Delta.

He gets elected as president rightfully this time in 2011 and under this term we see the rise of Biko Haram, the kidnapping of Chibok girls and Ebola

Since his deposition in ‘85 he has been running for President all this while losing to Obasanjo, Yar’Adua, and Goodluck. Northerners are able to get him back into office in 2015 and shit goes downhill from here

Although denouncing Boko Haram he kept them in his pocket. His officials have used them as their own chess pieces and have continued to wreak havoc on the Nigerian people. Our economy has tanked, corruption is running amok, the blood of our youths and loved ones paint their money

He “negotiated the release of the chibok girls” from his patnas in Boko Haram. The nation is more and more separated under Buhari and Nigeria keeps almost sliding into civil war. Between ethnic and religious tensions and divides its a surprise the country is still standing today

The Special Anti-Robert Squad is a portion of the Nigerian police that was created to combat corruption within the force and later 419/scamming in Nigeria. Instead they have become everything they were created to fight. The Nigerian police have now become synonymous with bribery

And corruption. They do not serve and protect (they don’t even claim to) instead they oppress, steal and brutalise. They carry their rifles and set up check points all around waiting to steal from one helpless Nigerian or another. They are murders and thieves

They will profile anyone with a phone, sensible untattered clothes, a car (even if it’s an 09 Camry), haircut, ANYTHING that points you are not in the lowest level of poverty and they will demand some sort of payment or bribe. If you do not have or you refuse...

They will beat you mercilessly, arrest you, rape you shoot you, kill you or all of the above. This has been going on for the last 15-20 years. They do not hide nor have shame. You can be a woman, man, child or youth....you will still be subject to their cruelty.

You can beg and show proof of having nothing you to even spare for yourself....they will expect you to either reproduce something or die there by their hands. They are fond of carrying people alive and dumping them places dead.

Regardless of the cries of the Nigerian public they are still active and in power free to do whatever. They are the goons themselves that even those in power fear. They are not officers but instead they are touts and hoodlums.

Between 10/3/20 and 10/8/20 report of a Nigerian youth killed by their hands came out. A young man in Delta on 10/3, sleek on 10/5 and Jimoh Isiaq a few days later during the peaceful protests

Yesterday 10/20/20 in Lagos Nigeria at the Lekki toll bridge with connects passage to the island...protesters were having a peaceful sit in protest to garner attention and hopefully action from the government following their cries being ignored and pacified....

While they were out there the governor of Lagos state Jide Sanwo-Olu issued a 24 hr curfew and his pal and demon in crime Bola Tinubu had the CCTV cameras at the toll uninstalled and the lights shot off. They surrounded protesters and started shooting live rounds at them

They killed 7 confirmed protesters (the bodies you see on your TL) and continued to block ambulances from coming to aid the wounded or allow people to flee.

THEY ARE CHASING MY PEOPLE DOWN WITH RIFFLES AND SHOOTING THEM DEAD THEN HI-FAVING AFTER!!! BOLA TINUBU LEFT THE COUNTY SHORTLY AFTER HAVING INNOCENT PEOPLE MURDERED
