I should probably clarify a few things that are a little closer to reality, but hard to hear.

It's fine to respond to "who's your favorite (insert whatever here) post" I LOVE when I'm thought of.

But it does almost nothing for the creators or people you're tagging. 1/?
We are all busy adults, so I can certainly see why people do respond to those things as a quick means of showing your appreciation and support for someone's persona, content, art, etc.

But the #1 way to support a creator, is to consume their content if you like it. 2/?
Promote that content, RT it, share it with your friends, pop by a stream or tune into a podcast, these are all EASY and FREE things you can do as a viewer and fellow creator to truly show support for someone's content that you enjoy.

I appreciate getting tagged. 3/?
But the reality is, for the 100's of times I've been tagged in these posts, I nearly never see any kind of uptick or response in my content being consumed.

It doesn't actually help. And I know that sounds hard to hear, but it is what it is. 4/4
This is not to say ima be mad if i get tagged in things, legit the support in ANY capacity means the world.

This space isn't a competition. But these ARE some things to just be mindful of in the process.
