FORRT is an education-focus organization aiming at integrating open and reproducible science tenets into higher-ED (and that absolutely encompasses a big focus on diversity, equity and inclusion!).

Here are a few things we managed to accomplish so far:
Have you found it difficult to stay up-to-date with the best practices on open and reproducible science? Are you interested in the topic but overburdened? FORRT prepared for you > 100+ Summaries on open and reproducible science to answer this call: https://forrt.org/summaries
Striving towards social justice and promoting diversity, equity, & inclusion has finally become front and center. FORRT works hard towards democratization of science education & aid underserved, underprivileged students/faculty. Help us help & do more https://forrt.org/dei/
Fairer teaching and mentoring practices is FORRT’s guiding principle which we argue should be the 4th pillar of ‘scientific utopia’ (Nosek et al). See our 7 tips that you, as a teacher/mentor, can implement in your class: https://forrt.org/forrt/adopting/
Learning about all relevant O&R science tenants can feel overwhelming. Too many topics, too much literature. FORRT tried to provide educators a comprehensive but straightforward framework to teach and mentor open and reproducible science https://forrt.org/clusters
The question ‘where do I start integrating O&R in my teaching?’ is addressed by our learning tool and self-assessment survey which provides tailored feedback on your teaching covering all 7 O&R themes & resources for instructors: https://forrt.org/self-assessment/
As a community of instructors who cares about O&R science, we each have valuable experiences we can share and ways we can learn from one another. Our Educators’ Corner is a platform for instructors to share their stories, successes & hardships: https://forrt.org/educators-corner/
Have you ever had trouble finding O&R specific resources? Or wished there was an easy to navigate, vetted and meta-data enriched database filled with goodies? Look no further than our Curated Resources: https://forrt.org/resources/
