Namibia is in a SGBV (Sexual and Gender Based Violence) Crisis where women no longer feel safe. Last year, police handled at least 2,400 domestic violence cases. More than 1,600 rape cases have been reported over the past 2 years. #ShutItAllDown

The people of Guinea are protesting against President Alpha Conde’s run for candidacy for a third term as they believe it to be illegal. Clashes between protesters and security forces have led to several violent deaths and injuries.

Thousands of Liberians protested in Monrovia in August against rising sexual assaults. Rape against young women and children has increased by 50% during the pandemic. 1000+ rape cases have been reported in the last 10 months. #RapeNationalEmergency

Conflict between the government and Anglophones has resulted in over 4,000 dead and 900,000 people displaced. Civilians are being assaulted, kidnapped and killed. 800,000+ children are not in school.
