Looking more and more likely Louis Rees-Zammit is going to make his Wales debut against France this weekend.

In terms of what he'll bring to Wayne Pivac's team, his finishing is clear to see - just look on youtube.

But there's plenty of other things to like...

(thread)
Starting with how he stays alive to the play.

In this example against Montpellier, he takes the box-kick, follows his pass and is there to take an inside pass for a clean break.

The offload ends up going forward. Otherwise, Montpellier would have been in trouble.
From the same game, Rees-Zammit gets the ball in midfield, gets through two tackles and squeezes an offload away.

But what's more pleasing is how he follows the play back across the pitch, putting in a pass to free up Thorley in space on the other side of the field.
Pivac wants his wingers to roam.

While Rees-Zammit is clearly great at knowing when to hold his width - as shown by his finishes - he also's capable at popping up in midfield and acting as a playmaking option.
Rees-Zammit also boasts some decent footballing skills.

This deft little kick and offload against Worcester created a try when often the move would have died earlier.
This little nudge ahead against Northampton turned an slightly awkward bounce into a try.

If there's a half-yard of space, it's a good weapon to have knowing that any sort of kick can be chased down by Rees-Zammit.
Then there's this gather and subsequent chip.

The width he keeps is what keeps the first kick on the cards, while it's great rugby instinct to put the second kick through.
It'll be interesting to see how Rees-Zammit is used by Pivac this autumn.

Obviously, everyone will be keeping an eye on the finishing that he's gone viral virtually every weekend since he broke through.

But there's plenty to his attacking game that Wales will look to use.
