I’m also an experienced theater production manager, anthropologist, & archaeologist who worked for a decade developing exhibits at a natural history museum… 3/

Collaborative teams & research are nothing 4 me. World-renowned scientists and tricky concepts to grasp? Got it. Designers and Art Dept teams needing guidance? No problem. I’ve overseen content development, writing, interactive film scripts for a variety of audiences and ages. 4/

Respecting what all my creative colleagues bring to the table—but delivering my own voice and work on time—is what I pride myself on. 5/

I’m the room mother. The mediator. The facilitator… I keep folks on task, help the quieter voices be understood, but overall, serve the big picture mission of the story when we’re losing focus. 6/

My horror tv work has been praised by top, well-respected SRunners on here, called evocative of Stephen King and Lynch’s works, & you'll definitely never find my genre worlds/characters anywhere else. 7/

My latest supernatural thriller feature is optioned, in late development, and casting discussions have begun with joint L.A./Chicago teams. 8/

From racially diverse retellings of Shakespeare, to my rural Iowa upbringing & tales inspired by ancient Greeks, to grounded sci-fi worlds awash in the patina of the past, I’ve got blood, horror, loss, and characters in spades. 9/

Dark adaptations. Fairy Tales with new spins. Genre-splitting works of John Logan, Steven Knight, Scott Frank, Gaiman, Michael Green, and Del Toro are my creative standards. 10/

I consider myself a drama writer. Sometimes, I just write about monsters.
