Signs that you might have trust issues:

A thread.
·You await the worst.

·You feel anxiety after being vulnerable.

·You avoid commitment at all cost, even when you care very much. Not getting attached allows you to not suffer.

·You don't forgive others for the smallest mistakes, you make sure they will never hurt you again.
·Your lack of trust causes quarrels in your relationships, it's not always clear what you're fighting about. You're afraid to express how much love scares you. It's humiliating.

·Your relationships are dramatic, explosive and end quickly.

·Your thoughts are full of suspicion.
·You're wary of everyone you meet, there's something off about them.

·You rather isolate yourself from people, even if loneliness gets heavy.

·You don't get close to others and feel uneasy when they want to give you attention or when they want to form relationship with you.
·You're afraid of emotional intimacy, you experience terror after passionate periods of closeness even if it wasn't physical.

·You distance yourself from others when you feel they're growing tired of you, regardless if there's no apparent sign that they are.
·You believe others are inconsiderate and malevolent, even when there's no evidence.

·You go to great lengths to create evidence of people's dishonesty; you scheme or interrogate them in a manner that lead to self-fulling prophecy.
·Your inner-critic is very strong and gets in the way of trusting people who claim to love you.

·Love from others makes you worried, you fear that they're manipulating you.
·You are overly protective of your partner. You give overly, just in case they're thinking about leaving or being disloyal to you.

·You pay attention to every tiny detail that might remind you of past hurt. You fear that past wounds can become your present.
Kindly give me time to write a thread about how to overcome trust issues.

If you recognize yourself in these, understand that you're doing all this to protect yourself. However, it's good to realize when we're the ones who end up hurting ourselves, by avoiding pain so much.
