He had to be master the English language & be able to navigate between the two worlds.

He could never be angry or emotional.

He was all that & still wasn't enough to shield him against century-long dehumanizing of Black men.

They still hated his Black ass.

Then white America turned around and elected a man who is the complete opposite of what they expected Obama to be.
Bc they needed to be white, to feel white & feel good about their lies of supremacy.

Trump only needed to be white.

His racist message resonated with them.
He told them he was going to give them their country back: make America white again!
There, they found their man, their white savior!

They could careless about Democracy,
American institutions, the economy, the rule of law, their healthcare etc...

They would rather be white than free!
