Incarcerated people at USP Thomson (the prison where Kodak Black is at) in Illinois is currently experiencing a Covid-19 crisis.
On August 17 the prison was reporting 20 staff members and 2 inmates tested positive. On August 20 the number rose to 30 staff members and 18 inmates.

We’re now in late October and the numbers are still rising.
The prison has committed to testing all inmates but still is not requiring testing for staff members who daily travel in and out of the facility.

On top of that they are hosting a job fair on the prison grounds this Saturday 10/24. The prison is very short staffed and conditions are deteriorating fast.
We’re hearing from inmates & family members that they have started quarantining inmates but they are not receiving any medical attention or monitoring. Inmates families weren’t even notified about the outbreak.
