Raptors assistant GM Dan Tolzman says there isn& #39;t much difference for this process being in Toronto, though he does think the loss of in-person visits to get to know prospects and sell them on Toronto is real.
Basically, the front office will have to rely a lot more on their pre-pandemic scouting work, their film work, and their gut feelings.
Tolzman calls the draft "very balanced," which they like with picks Nos. 29 and 59. Thinks the group they& #39;re looking at could be 50 player sdeep.
Tolzman also says the undrafted market could be huge. Thinks there will be a lot of rotation-calibre guys throughout the draft and then some potential gems as UDFA because they didn& #39;t have the chance to play themselves up boards in workouts/combines.
