Late August, they released "Ice Cream" where Pop Star Selena Gomez is featured and Ariana Grande participated in the credits. It is a fun song dedicated to fans this summer. It is the HIGHEST charting korean girl group song in Billboard Hot 100. It peaked number 13.

It broke the HIGHEST orders for korean ggs for 1 week IN JUST A DAY. It is expected to broke S.E.S record which was NEVER broken since years. "THE ALBUM" was praised by music critics with their vocal abilities and switching up styles. Really one of the most succesful album.
To the title track, BLACKPINK keeps extending their UNBREAKABLE record in the making for most entries by a kpop girl group in Billboard Hot 100 as it peaked in 59 making it 7. They extend their record to for the MOST number of 50m debut to be 4 (KTL, IC, HYLT,LSG).
It is the first kpop group to debut in number 1 in Global Excl US and also made entries in Bubbling Under (1, BYW and 21, Pretty Savage). BLACKPINK holds the MOST music show wins in 2020 for a gg with HYLT (13). The pre release songs are viral became viral in TikTok. Impact.
