Happens when you use your platform to spread unsubstantiated conspiracy theories
Especially after you take pics with someone that doesn't give a flying duck (intentional typo) about human rights, and defending your choice to endorse that man...how you gonna come all of a sudden and speak about human rights?
Just another confused person reading too much on Twitter and parroting figures that no one knows the source of (we do, it's called ASPI, but we not gonna talk about that now). Nevertheless, he shouldn't be treated like that by Arsenal
I mean, it's quite funny how he first took pics with Erdog*n, got criticised, defended those pics and his choice to endorse Erdog*n...and then started talkin about human rights in China. LOL Mesut, dude, the man you're endorsing is making business, with China, and Isr*el...
...and is not exactly a human rights flagship himself either. I've always wondered why he started talking about the oppressed far away, while...his own President is moving like a dictator. Not that I care, but there's clearly a lack of coherence
Arsenal should just let him go. Let him carry on somewhere else. Tired of this teenager like drama and the same topic resurfacing every couple weeks lol move on
Özil is the perfect example of a person with good intentions, but also a massive lack of information caused by msm news channels&social media. Mans been used by Erdog*n, used by Germans to attack Erdog*n, used by an Australian based org, and by a Washington DC based org too
Poor dude
He's too much of a nice guy, and gets exploited so easily... his heart is good, and he wants to stand against oppression. But, that doesn't work well if you're getting manipulated at the same time...the results, as we can see, are catastrophic.
You can't say you're against a country's actions (alleged camps etc), but at the same time endorse your president, whom is making billion dollar business with the same country that you're criticising. Doesn't make sense, does it?
The president that uses Islam as a PR gig to get people stirred up, but as soon as the cameras are off turns around and makes business with those people he called "oppressors of Muslims". This is why, I say that Özil has good intentions, but lacks knowledge...
...and, that's ok. I do not expext a footballer to know much about international politics. But, I expect coherence from a person that decides to open his mouth and use his platform to support and/or criticise something/someone.
