I think that was a fair comment from Angela Rayner.

Some responses to Rayner’s ‘scum’ comment are pearl-clutching uber-twattery. “She’s diminishing the office of blah, blah!”

Tories are wrecking our institutions, economy, trade, international reputation, in addition to tens of thousands of covid deaths.

Get over yourselves, FFS.

In 2001, Labour Deputy Leader, John Prescott, was applauded for punching a voter.

“You [Blair] told us to connect with the electorate, so I did.”

In 2020, Angela Rayner can’t even call a Tory MP ‘scum’ without some people acting as though she shot a puppy.

There’s some doubt as to whether Rayner did say ‘scum’. I’m going accept that she didn’t say it, which is quite disappointing.
