The UCP accused me of being a “anti-religious bigot” when I said we shouldn’t hand our schools or our education funding over to religious wing nuts. This is what I was talking about. And it’s why I don’t mind being a target of the UCP’s scorn. They get mad when I’m right.

This is also yet another example of the UCP following the old authoritarian adage: “Accuse others of what you do yourself.” In this case, the UCP accused the NDP of “politicizing” curriculum. They hadn’t, but now it’s clear that’s exactly what the UCP intended to do all along.
