Gus is just as powerful as Willow, a thread (Aka why you shouldn't think that Willow would win at a Witch's Duel between them automatically because you're underestimating Gus)

Why do we keep acting like illusions are LITERALLY just illusions when they're clearly not? Casting illusion spells affect stuff and aren't just appearance, because if that were the case this student should've been able to speak/breathe!

Another example! Gus's illusion is taking notes /for/ him! If it really was just appearance then how the hell is he holding a pencil?? Heck how would an illusion even listen to a teacher if its just, y'know, an illusion? Plus this whole time he's been giving Luz a tour!

So what does this mean? Basically what this means is-
Gus can do MOST magic stuff. Think about it! What's stopping him from summoning an Abomination from NOTHING? Not to mention he moved up a couple grades! He's clearly skilled at it!

Of course he can't cast illusions forever since we saw they were only temporary and not all illusions can touch things. But the fact that he could do so much is honestly really OP.

So yeah don't underestimate Gus! Stop acting like he's useless! He's been THE most useful one out of the friend group. Casting illusions to hide from guards, skip class, fight the detention thingies, etc.
