I text DBT to let them know I will be 30 mins late to group tomorrow because I have an appointment 9.30-10.30, and instead of a âthanks for letting us know Jess, we appreciate you have a lifeâ I get âin future donât do it againâ

Now Iâm having a meltdown because theyâve made me feel bad, but also my work & commitments are important to me and to my well-being. Canât talk to them about my meltdown because itâs their attitude thatâs caused it.
Give me strength!

But if they were late - like they were a few weeks ago - it would be fine! Howâs that for power imbalance?!
Wish Iâd lied and said Iâd had âtechnical issuesâ, because being honest obviously doesnât mean o get treated with respect.
Ok, rant over (for now)

Also, may have sent them an âattitudeyâ text (appreciate I couldâve toned said text better) saying itâs an important commitment to me and I feel like Iâm going to get told off for that. Honestly feel like a child in this therapy.
Will also probably get told off for this thread of tweets by the therapists, but ya know what? This gal doesnât care because sheâs fed up of working with professionals who have no respect for her (& also hasnât done anything wrong)
