A thread on why I think the house/family I work for is #haunted :
My first day everything went smoothly and I wasn’t worried about anything. Love the 3 little kids I watch
However, after a few days of being here, something started to feel off and almost like I was being watched. 2 out of 3 of the kids don’t live here but the one that does started worrying me.
For the past 2 days especially, she’ll get up when I wake her up and come down to have breakfast with me before the 2 other kids get here. The first week she said she was scared but I made her go upstairs to get dressed by herself anyways.
The past two days though, I started paying more attention to her actions. She’ll get up, walk over to the stairs, stare up to the top and then look back over to me and say “I’m scared, please come upstairs with me.” But like I said, I’ve been paying no mind to it to clean up.
Now you wouldn’t think anything of it either but when you start noticing that things move on their own, little things aren’t where you left it and SWEAR you can see things moving in the corners of your eyes. You might get freaked out a little bit.
Now, there’s a whole bunch of articles out there on how animals can see things the human eye cannot and they have 2 cats. Well, if my last tweet wasn’t enough proof. The cats should be.
Yesterday morning, before I woke the kid up, I was sat on the couch on my phone when both cats came into the room. The one cat is very fidgety and doesn’t like people so he went to look out the window. The other cat seems to love anyone and has quickly befriended me
At first he was rubbing on the couch leg and purring, he turned around to look out the window and then turned back towards me. However, when he turned to look at me, the weirdest thing happened
He looked up towards the ceiling, his eyes got wide, his back fur started to stick up and he hissed before sprinting up the stairs and away from me. Now this creeped the shit out of me because I was the only one here other then the kid and she was asleep.
The other cat did the same thing after hearing his brother freak out and ran away. I immediately moved away and into the kitchen because clearly they didn’t like whatever they were seeing.
Since yesterday morning, I’ve been trying to pay more attention to where things are placed, how the kids act and how the cats act. I will keep updates on the #spooky shit that’s happening :) wish me luck

I think I shouldn’t have made this thread.
