When my boys were babies I had a lot of support on ~social media~ from kindly folk so I thought I would share how they are doing now, on their third birthday.
Overall: delightful chaos. Feels like there’s ten of them. Funniest blokes I know. Charming but Take No Shit.

T1: Utterly obsessed with whales. Will gladly make it clear that you’re a disappointment if you cannot match/beat him with whale facts. Prefers to sing than talk. Very bendy. Determined & smart. Eats a full size Magnum most days. Has unfortunately been spoilt by his mother. (Me).
T2: Just so incredibly cheeky? Falls head over heels for every woman he meets. Knows he is cute and works to his advantage. Very knowing in general. Very kind. Loves a secret and can mostly be trusted. Impressive memory. Can outrun me. And does. A very good roommate.
T1 strengths: maths, technology, sea creature identification, singing, sticking up for himself, asking for downtime when needed.
T1 weaknesses: Life revolves around ice cream. When can he have another? And is it right now? Hasn’t quite grasped that the playground isn’t “his”.

T2 strengths: patience, insight, empathy, honest about fears, will always want to make you laugh and has a truly perfect smirk. Genuinely happy to FaceTime people, which is surely a trait most people do not possess.
T2 weaknesses: hits Mother a lot.
