The situation in the Czech Republic is now looking extraordinarily bad.

Left: There are now 856 confirmed cases per million per day. A rate higher than what we've seen almost anywhere before.

Right: And this is at very poor testing. More than every fourth test is positive.
And the death rate is also rising very rapidly –  its far exceeding the spring-peak of the pandemic in the country.

And as always, deaths are of course lagging behind cases.
