I'm going to make a good-faith effort to summarize what I've heard as reasons for not liking "womxn".

- It was created by TERFs.
- It's only used by ignorant cis people.
- People use it to say that all non-binary people are women.

- People use it to say that trans women aren't women.
- Screenreaders might choke on the word.
- It's unnecessary as we have "women" already.
- It upsets trans women.
- The meaning is confusing.

Have I missed any?

This is seriously a good faith effort here. I'm not trying to mischaracterize anyone's positions. I'm taking them as serious criticisms and addressing them.

- It removes "men" from "women" which is transmisogynistic.

- It looks like "womyn" and TERFs use "womyn."

I'm serious, if there are others I've missed, I want to include them.

I'm not going to respond to them in this thread, but I do want to address many of these because they seem misguided.
