I used the term & #39;Fisher Price eugenicists& #39; to describe those dismissing #Covid19 as it & #39;only affects the old/already ill& #39;. And I stand by that 100%

It reminded me of when I& #39;ve made similar points before, about those who & #39;reject& #39; the modern world/technology/medicine

I even did an article about it for the Guardian, taking aim at the insufferable Mark Boyle in particular

https://www.theguardian.com/science/brain-flapping/2017/sep/22/why-rejecting-the-modern-world-is-a-privileged-fantasy

Bottom">https://www.theguardian.com/science/b... line is, saying "We& #39;d be better off without technology/the modern world" usually means "*I* would be better off, and a few people like me"

You always get those types, who argue that & #39;a few #Covid19 deaths& #39; or the loss of support for the vulnerable is "a price worth paying" for living in their ideal world.

It& #39;s interesting how those who insist the price is & #39;worth it& #39; are never the ones actually paying
