Does anyone have a sense of what in our own UK context would be considered as "popular movements" as Francis uses it in #FratelliTutti? My hunch is that it's more specific than civil society, broader than looking only to community organising... but what else? I can think of...
...plenty of examples that started as something 'of the people', started 'from below', but are much more professionalised and no longer seem to have that popular 'flavour'. Any ideas @TheoHawksley @AnnaRowlands1 @austeni @DamianHoward8?
does the category not really translate because we're ahead of the game with our 'closed and monochrome economic approaches' that have edged this approach (out except for the places that are specifically trying to renew it)?
