Playing politics over COVID is a bit shabby.
People losing livelihoods is too.
We're compiling a massive problem for later, when the true cost of not treating other illnesses comes to light.
We know this will last now for months/years.
So what is the endgame? This can't go on.
If (& if carries some weight) a vaccine is available, it will still take ages to mass produce/distribute.
They've already stopped their daft promises over it.
Even when it comes, it fixes nothing. It's another sticking plaster.
We can't keep the nation in quasi-lockdowns forever.
We certainly can't keep handing out taxpayers cash, like there won't be payback required.
We can't keep ignoring the job losses, the industries decimated, the damage to social & mental health issues.
Keeping Granny in a tupperware tub is no life either.
So what is the endgame? 🤷‍♂️
