2. White privilege & inherited racial guilt *are* contested theories. We should definitely teach the theories of their critics. Including, but not limited to, the collective interest of the black & white working class in unity & the inherited history of proletarian struggle.

3. "Black victimhood" as a 'theory' is articulated in its extreme in the Black/Slave vs Human dichotomy of afro-pessimism. Long story short: this defines Black people out of civil society and therefore out of revolutionary political struggle...

The perfect theory for middle class academics & liberal, professional Black establishments to sit pretty & uncontested in ivory towers. For balance, we should teach the radical Black tradition from the Haitian Revolution, to communist Black feminists, to the Black Panther Party.

4. In 1998 white police officers stood over Christopher Alders body making monkey noises while they watched him die. For balance, I'd like to hear 'The House' condemn this. Black people are 3% of this rainy island, but 8% of deaths in custody. Lets talk about that.
