#EndSARS hi, did u know that issues with police brutality happen worldwide, and aren’t contained to america ? that sars is a police force in nigeria that was established in 1992 to try and combat the uprising of robbery and crime in nigeria ? how about that instead of helping, ++

the members of this police force have decided to target innocent nigerian youth, and that they are being threatened, robbed, extorted, detained, attacked, kidnapped, killed and more by their government systems, one that’s meant to keep them “safe” ?

what about that the government has now put a 24h curfew on lagos ? or have you yet heard about the lekki massacre, which also happened just hours before the making of this thread, which included over seventy people either getting injured +

or killed by the nigerian army who open fired on their peaceful protest against the government ? if you didn’t know these things before, now you do. what are you going to do with this info now that you’ve got it ?

if you’ve not bothered to research this yet, i sincerely hope this thread has encouraged you to do so. this is *so important*. they need our help. they need our privileged voices. do your research and speak up. if you have time to scroll on twit, you have time to learn.
