The charts used, seemed scary...

Lets talk about them.

1 the heat map tables

Very east to create but, easy to manipulate, you can make the colours darken if they change by just 1.

The scale. 7 day rolling per 100,000. Doesn't say average does it.
Now, lets zoom in on those numbers, the reason they used heat maps was to scare you. But ifnyou look closer the numbers show the lie. The numbers were ☆falling☆

Even on north west aged over 45 only increased by 11 per 100,000 in 5 days.

Not exponential as they implied.
So why did they present the data like this?

To scare you and try and justify lockdowns.

It was classic look how scary but don't look to close.

Why use another chart type..

Because the trend line is so flat you would question the lockdown logic. So they change the chart.
So my advice to all people out there, when an organisation keeps changing their chart types to show the same dataset to prove their point.

They are using visual aids to manipulate you because their data is weak.

Very weak, and the risk is falling now.

Hope this helps.
