First let me be clear that this statement was made after twisting her white men statement. Brie has actively participated in women empowering movements. She DOES NOT hate men, she just wants females

To be provided with more opportunities, and tbh if you think that women aren't discriminated for their gender, you really need to open your mind and do some research. Women know how often they are denied opportunities. Women do the same work as men but still get paid less?

We want equality, yes! But people need to understand that women have been looked down for so long and since some men wont put aside their ego that there needs to be an extreme push from females if we all want to be on the same level. Thats why we need feminism.

On her YouTube channel, brie showed all the movies she auditioned for but didn't land the role, gave them advice from her 20 years experience and inspired many young actors not to give up .
