[Issues regarding my Swap AU and the way I portray characters, a THREAD]
Alright so I woke up this morning and got messages from some followers about what's going on on Twitter. So apparently there's been issues with the way I portray the blight parents and my Swap AU has-

-made some people uncomfortable. So in this thread, I'll explain a little more about my actions. Please understand where I'm coming from as a content creator and as a human being, a kid whose learning how to deal with lots of things at once. Anyways let's begin.

So 1st things first, Alador and Odalia Blight. So I've received comments that say I keep portraying Alador and Odalia Blight as good even though they're shown to be abusive. I would like to point out that I don't condemn the Blight parents either. I don't believe they are-h

-good parents to the blight siblings. The reason I made the 'what-ifs' is just to draw out the WHAT IF concepts. This does not mean I have high hopes that the blight parents are going to be good parents when they appear in the show. For now I am skeptical about the Blights-

-until season 2 gets released. And I also get comments about drawing Odalia and Alador often? Well for that, all i have to say is that the Blights are interesting people and I do have other characters I want to draw, But there are more ideas I have for-

-drawing the blights, So that's why I draw the Blights slightly often. I don't know if i noticed i drew them more slightly, but if you guys are uncomfortable with me drawing them often then let me know, I'll consider not drawing them if it upsets ya too much.-

Next thing, The Opposite Swap AU. So the opposite swap AU is a slightly complex AU, i can understand if it gets upset as the au may not be clear. So I'll just explain a summary of the AU. Basically, all humans are Witches are swapped including their roles.-

Amity is in Luz's role as the aspiring witch and Luz in Amity's role as the bully. In the original series, Amity's friend circle was Boscha,Skara,Bo,Amelia and Kat. Now that they are in the human world, Amity's (as Luz) friends are Human Boscha and Human Gus.

whereas for Luz, in the original series, friends were Gus and Willow but now that Luz is in Amity's role, Luz's friends are Human Willow (as Boscha) , human Skara, human Amelia, human kat. another thing that seemed to make others uncomfortable was that I changed

the characters for the supporting Roles. (Willow was changed to a skinnier girl, Gus to another light skinned person) Like I said before above, Since Amity is the main character, her friend is Human Boscha and Human Gus ( I used all these characters from the first-

-episode) I'll leave pics at the end to explain further if this is still too complicated. So NO i do not condemn Race washing, I am sorry to have offended anyone. Lastly, Body size representation, As for what I can do about that, I'll try to be more inclusive-

-about body rep. As far Human Augustus is the only one with body rep and asian rep, so I'll try to be more fair and give the other characters more diverse bodies. If this AU still made you uncomfortable then, I apologize. I advice you to move onto another account-

-before I make you more uncomfortable. I am only an Artist trying to make content for my followers and I wish to make original aus that are different from other swap AUs. Please understand where I'm coming from, and have a good day.
