The stage is being preemptively set to argue that the outcome of the election is unclear & muddled in confusion so as to justify that new state electors be sent to determine the outcome in place of the voters, themselves. (See: conservative power hold over state legislatures.)

This is in the playbook. I don't know the response, shy of protest. I hope someone has a better idea.

My best preemptive thought is that vote tallies need to leave NO DOUBT about a Biden victory. Trump must have a definitive loss in multiple key states.
