Seriously, if I put myself in that place: my life changed only by circumstance. Granted all of the same love for my son but not the privilege of my birthplace. Separated from him never again to see him.

My lord, that would be a grief beyond measure. A wound with no recovery.

And let it never be forgotten, these families were destroyed not by error or accident.
