If you want to be a helpful ally, here are some small things you can do to make life easier for trans, intersex and nonbinary folx...

e.g. “Sydney said they’re running late. Are they coming by themself or are they bringing Gizmo?”

It can be really scary for trans, intersex and enby folx to be the only one in an office with pronouns in our email signature. If even one other person joins in, it makes a world of difference.

This lets us know it’s safe for us to tell you our pronouns, if we choose to.

You can do this online and offline.

You can get them easily online from queer orgs or Etsy (or just make your own with sticky notes/masking tape).

It can be a friend, a colleague, a parent, etc. Instead of leaving it to us to do the educating, it truly helps when allies help carry some of the weight.
