The candidates intend to tackle climate change, social justice, and the pandemic if elected.
5/ Senator @amyklobuchar asks the first question. She asks about the Covid-19 pandemic and its effects. "In light of rising cases in a majority of states, what would you do to tackle the Coronavirus? And what would you do to recover the economy?"
6/ Candidate Oscar responds. "As president, I will invest in robust testing and contact tracing, and will create a federal mask mandate... With this, we can avoid a federal shutdown."
7/ Says Candidate Surrey: "As president, I will procure funding for PPE funding for healthcare workers... I will re-allocate funding from the military budget towards a pandemic response."
8/ Senator @amyklobuchar asks candidates about their plans to tackle climate change.

Candidate Arunima contends that the US needs to re-enter the Paris Climate Agreement.
9/ Candidate Surrey proposes an "inflated tax plan on companies who have a negative effect on the environment."

Candidate Oscar says that he will transition the US from fossil fuels to clean energy in its entirety.
10/ Candidate William says: "We need to educate the US citizens on the real effects of climate change."
11/ Candidate Arunima rebuts William: "What money will you use to bribe companies to embrace green energy?"

Candidate William responds; he says he'll use money from the military budget.
12/ Live from DIF Network:
13/ Candidate Skye draws our attention to wildfires. She says we need to call "greater attention to them, as they affect wildlife, people's homes, and their livelihoods."
14/ Senator @amyklobuchar asks, "In your opinion, what is the biggest problem facing our public education systems in the United States?"

Two of our presidential nominees are students in @ChiPubSchools system!
15/ Candidates contend that we need smaller class sizes, mandate baseline amounts that districts spend on students, pay teachers more, and do a better job engaging ALL students in the classroom.
16/ Candidate Khalil rebuts Candidate William: "What is your plan for when we return to the in-person classroom, after the pandemic?"
17/ Senator @amyklobuchar congratulates our candidates: "No one has had a fly land on their heads thus far"
18/ The candidates share what they will do to engage citizens of opposing viewpoints, and how we can expand discourse.

19/ DIF's **INCREDIBLE** CFO and CEO, Josh Aaronson and Leah Schapiro, respectively, observe the debate.
20/ Final question: Should the voting age be reduced in the US?
