Statewide hospitalization stats (as always, updated at 11:59 p.m. the night before):

There are currently 2,261 Illinoisans hospitalized with Covid-19.

Of those, 489 are in ICU beds.

195 are on ventilators.

-Hospitalizations are a lagging indicator of infection-
41 more Illinoisans have died after a Covid-19 diagnosis.
