A Fortnight of Guiding, a Thread.
(I forgot (

) to post these all last week, and I like posting about what Iâve been up to)
(Also, in advance, sorry for the spam!

)
(Youâre welcome!

)

We did 3 activities with Helen last Monday, using a mix of UMAs and SBs, and Harry Potter characters as examples
1. Learnt about our DNA codes
2. Reflected on our reflections

3. Learnt about our different traits and characteristics

Then on Tuesday, I saw all my unitâs Flossies in another Zoom meeting!
Last week, we had our thinking caps on

with a few memory games

:
- A Kimâs Game

- A fairytale testing our listening skills
- A draw-a-monster game & we needed to listen to instructions

Following Tuesdayâs meeting, I went back over to Welwyn for our fortnightly quiz!
We were doing so well until Jon and I spun the Wheel of Doom

and sent us to the bottom of the table!

Well done to the top team!

Fast forward to this Monday, we started our Harry Potter-themed term.
Sorting the girls into their houses, based on the traits quiz last week!

We drew mythical creatures

from a combo of animals and their traits. My favourites were the Moffxphin & Dbmf!

I have also been asked to create a PowerPoint for our
#TrefoilGuild ladies as on October 1st, 2020 they celebrated their 50th Anniversary!
I have been sent a collection of notes and photos

to put together a presentation to show at their Anniversary Zoom Meeting next Week!

Tonight, we had our final leaderâs Zoom before our
#Virtual #PackHoliday and/or
#CampAtHome
This weekend should have been the actual residential

But weâre trying something new and we look forward to giving it a go on Friday!

Stay tuned for another thread!

Ten years ago today (just!) we had the final celebrations of
@Girlguidingâs Centenary Year!

As part of our districtâs celebrations we renewed our Promises, had a dance event, did a light trail and sand classic campfire songs in a District-wide event!

Tonight was also the first time Iâve written a post for our District Facebook page, as part of our new
#SocialMedia team!
(A small achievement, but Iâm proud of myself!

)

To complete this thread, I will now jump on the back of a popular trend:
How it started
vs.
How itâs going

My
@Girlguiding version
(I couldnât pick just 2 pictures
