Emily in Paris is a masterpiece of heterosexuality! C’est magnifique!
the episode where the man who picked her up randomly on the street is like “I need to know that a woman has books before I can sleep with her” is so jfjfjckckddkkckxox
this whole show is about boring, conventionally attractive white people specifically not having group sex, and yet! j’adore!
Emily acts like someone who has not only never been to Paris but has also never lived in a city as an adult. She is both an experienced and adroit young professional and a completely doe-eyed neophyte, constantly awestruck and astonished. It makes her character so hard to follow.
Every scene is written as a lead up to what someone clearly imagined to be the perfect one-liner and then once the line is said, the scene is over. Amazing.
Emily would absolutely celebrate Boss’s Day
This entire show is like if someone took that meme that’s like “when someone says the movie title in the movie” and used it as premise for story, dialogue, etc
