"People ask when we will find all of these families and, sadly, I can’t give an answer... will not stop looking until we have found every one... tragic reality is that hundreds of parents were deported to Central America without their children, who remain here,” said @leegelernt.
Most of these parents, if ever found, will face insurmountable hurdles to reunification with their children in the United States.

My colleague @ahylton26 also reported on the effort to track down and reunite the "unreachables" in this extraordinary @VICE documentary. Please watch if you can. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A59cmbkKZD8">https://www.youtube.com/watch...
Remember: the government knew that many of these children were so young they would struggle to find their parents after separations, but Trump moved forward with the policy anyway. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/immigration/officials-said-2017-separated-migrants-under-12-couldn-t-find-n1242439">https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/...
